Record: 56
Seven hundred and thirty.
I never thought the count would get this high, nor see what has happened happen.
Before you start getting worried, if that's your style, I'll say this-this is something positive, so please don't be upset.
Of course, there have been interruptions, and most of the numbers blur into one, but occasionally it serves well to pull one out of the count for consideration. But mainly, they keep their records, I keep mine, and we're content to let that be.
Just the reflections of a mind this morning.
[ooc: Starting from this comment, all further ones in that thread have been struck out.]

he better
It fits perfectly. Thank you.
for subconcious oogling or matchmaker set ups?
Shall I start breakfast for you here at the restaurant in a little while and if so, will that be for one or two?
Both, obviously.
Yes, I would like that, and I'm coming alone, don't fret about that. [Laughing again. Oh Black.]
that's what I thought xD <3
<33
[A bit more loosely written, she's walking as she writes.]
Re: <33
[As is his, moving towards the kitchen to prep it]

[Elevator, going down.]
And given what you've acted like in the past...I'm surprised you're comfortable enough to discuss this in public.
no subject
[He pauses and hates how he's slipping and Juliet's caught on]
I've been distracted.
no subject
[Say the word, and she'll snap her pen over the sentences to hide them.]
I'm almost there. The one thing I actually will request from you today is for you to consent to talking a bit about this.
no subject
[He watches the scratching out and leaves the journal for a second to find that apron]
Are you sure today? I meant to talk to you earlier.
no subject
[She shuts the journal and tucks it away when she finishes crossing out the writing, close enough to the restaurant that it's stupid to keep going in it, and instead enters, looking for him.]
no subject
[Juliet knows he doesn't spend all his time at the restaurant and hatchery, especially his days off. He'll look over his shoulder at her presence showing up closer. Chairs are pushed against the wall and packed a bit with moved to the side tables with a bit of a wide space in the middle.]
I'm back here. [He calls from the kitchen]
no subject
She comes over and leans against the doorframe to the kitchen, lightly smiling. The questions could bend to habit, first.]
Good morning, Black.

The demon's eyes wander down Juliet's frame at the dress. As usual, it is beautiful on her]
Good morning, Juliet. Elegant as always.
no subject
[Should she really come out and say it? Yes, there's no delicate way to bring it up.]
You've been distracted lately. That's not like you at all...is something going on?
no subject
Yes. Have you heard or noticed any changes within the tree?
no subject
Changes? How about renewed amnesia among certain residents but not everyone?
no subject
Perhaps I should rephrase. Have you noticed or heard of any changes to the tree itself and not Edensphere or its residents.
no subject
...The Tree itself? No. Nothing.
no subject
[He takes a second to chop as his head tilts downwards] On the outside it seems sound. No great or noticable changes. In the Hall of Beginnings cocoons regrow after someone is born, but they are not.
no subject
...Then where are they going?
no subject
[A sizzle here and there] When newborns are born, they don't regrow. I've searched every inch possible of Edensphere that I've been able to so far and I'm still looking. I see no other signs of growth. Fugue doesn't seem worried.
no subject
[She listens to the news of the cocoons, mouth settling into a thin line, and her voice soft in case anyone decided to come in.] Either something's being corrected or something is falling very out of place.
no subject
[He pokes at the food and tilts the pan, his own face rather impassive as he flips the omelette around]
The outside remains untouchd. So far I have noticed nothing else really of diference.
no subject
[She's not going to comment on the near hypocrisy of her saying that.]
Double amnesia, the Wilderness acting up, and now missing cocoons. What are we headed towards, Black?
