What is a Jedi?

It is difficult to say. I do not know myself. I do know that they use the Force and wielded lightsabers.

Much of what I know is through children's entertainment from Earth, strangely. I do not know how much truth can be placed in it.

Perhaps take most, but not all? Everything with a doubt, if it's for children it's not likely to tell the full truth.

Yes, the child's version has proven to be much less complicated than my own memories of Jedi.

I do know their ideals were to protect those who could not fight from evil.
