I'd've been fine, Julie. I've been practicing making explosives--I'd've stayed back and bombed the guy while you went after him.

[She remembers he said he loved her once, and then he wasn't certain any more. They were going to try a few dates, see how that worked out.

Apparently, it only took maybe two for Juliet.

Dani gasps and looks up at Julie.]

...Really? For sure this time?

[It wasn't the dates. It was how much he wanted to protect her, the happiness he felt when she smiled, the pain when someone-including himself-made her cry. All that and more.

He nods, voice soft]
